Community Guidelines

Rendo works when people feel safe enough to be themselves. These are the few things we ask of everyone — in profiles, chats, games, Live and at every date.

Be yourself

  • Use your own recent photos and your real age. Couples' profiles should show both people, with both people's agreement.
  • Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't make accounts for other people.

Respect and consent, always

  • Everyone gets to say no — to a chat, a photo, a date or a second date — without explaining why. Take no gracefully.
  • Ask before sending anything intimate. Unrequested sexual messages or images aren't allowed.
  • Whatever the relationship style — monogamous, open, polyamorous, swinging — honesty and enthusiastic consent from everyone involved come first.

Everyone is welcome

  • Rendo is for people of every gender, orientation, body, background and relationship style.
  • Hate speech, slurs, fetishising people for their identity or body, and harassment are not tolerated.

Adults only

  • You must be 18 or older to use Rendo. We remove anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18 and may report it to the authorities.
  • No nudity or sexual content in photos, profiles or Live streams.

Keep each other safe

  • Meet in public places for first dates and tell a friend where you're going — our date safety share makes that easy.
  • Never send money to someone you've met online. Scams, spam and selling things aren't allowed.
  • Don't share other people's private information, screenshots of their chats, or their location.

Live and events

  • Treat hosts and other viewers with the same respect as a match. Hosts can remove comments; our team can end streams that break these rules.
  • At events, the guidelines come with you. Respect venues, staff and other guests.

Report and block

  • If something feels wrong, report it from any profile, chat, stream or event. Reporting is free, and the person isn't told who reported them.
  • Blocking is instant and private: they can't see you or message you, and any match ends.
  • Our team reviews reports within 24 hours. Depending on what happened we may warn, restrict, suspend or remove accounts.

Terms, in plain language

A short summary of the agreement you make when you use Rendo.

  1. Rendo is for adults aged 18 and over. You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for what you post.
  2. You keep ownership of your photos and words. You give us permission to show them to other members according to your privacy settings.
  3. We only show your area, never your exact location. Your birthday is never shown — only your age, if you choose.
  4. Some features are demos: coins in your wallet are demo coins with no real-world value, venue bookings are unconfirmed demo requests, and some Live streams are simulated. They're clearly labelled.
  5. We may remove content or limit accounts that break these guidelines. If we take action on your account, you can appeal from Settings — a different team member reviews it.
  6. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
  7. Recommendations and date suggestions are rules-based suggestions, not guarantees. Please use your own judgement when meeting people.
